This was also Kali's (theshadowserpents) birthday image. I wanted to try and paint something using only water colours for a change ( I have a tendancy to mix media with water colours, particularly doing detail with pencil) to see whether it was possible for me to do it without screaming and screwing the image up and binning it.
I'm quite pleased, although I had to use GIMP to make the eyes a little brighter, but I couldn't think of a way of doing that with watercolours and their muted pallette. The new set I've got is proving to be very useful. Relating to the actual picture though, I love Raziel. Legacy of Kain's one of my favourite series, and I thought it was out time I started doing some decent fan art for characters I like. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
